86 Popular Doctrine ‘Book-Mark’ [1John 2:28]

A mockery to change the verse so it supports a supposed Pre-Trib-Rapture! Because the original is actually speaking of the Second Coming????

 Popular Doctrine [1John 2:28]

Popular Doctrine is the accepted majority teaching. It's because these beliefs are so Popular, that other scriptures are now redundant or incompatible with Popular Doctrine. Our team strive to produce handy ‘POP-DOC Book-Marks’ with appropriately altered scriptures, so you can then paste each ‘Book-Mark’ into your bible in order to update your bible.
If you find scriptures that need updates, please contact us in the comments below, thank you.

Each ‘Book-Mark’ provides you with: -
1 The original scripture reference.
2 The new replacement scripture, which is then compatible with Popular Doctrine.
3 Then the reason the correction is needed.

NB: Beware....Rev 22:19 “And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.”
Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [1John chapter 2 verse 28]
ORIGINAL: 1Jn 2:28 “And now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He is revealed, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him in His coming.”
REPLACEMENT: 1Jn 2:28 “And now, little children, abide in Him, so that at our catching away, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him in His coming.”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine Demands the Rapture, (our catching away), MUST happen first! The Original says, when He is revealed! Christ IS NOT revealed at the Rapture! Therefore this verse has been CHANGED so that it provides harmony with the Rapture!

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [Matthew chapter 13 verses 40-43]
ORIGINAL: Mat 13:40 “Therefore as the darnel are gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be in the end of this world. :41 The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity, :42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. :43 Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun.”
REPLACEMENT: Mat 13:40 “Therefore as the Good Seed is gathered in first, so it shall be in the end of this world. :41 The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather the Good Seed into the granary. Seven years later they shall gather all things that offend, and those who do iniquity, :42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. :43 Then when the Good Seed is replanted, the righteous shall shine out like the sun.”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine maintains the Rapture happens First! Therefore the Good Seed are gathered FIRST! Therefore this passage needed considerable revision to be in harmony with the Rapture belief!

85 Popular Doctrine ‘Book-Mark’ [2Peter 3:12]

A mockery to add the word SECOND to the verse as though it wasn’t already clear enough! The original already speaks of the Second Coming????

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [2Peter chapter 3 verse 12]
ORIGINAL: 2Pe 3:12 “looking for and rushing the coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?”
REPLACEMENT: 2Pe 3:12 “looking for and rushing the SECOND coming of the Day of God, on account of which the heavens, being on fire, will melt away, and the elements will melt, burning with heat?”
REASON: Popular Doctrine believes that ALL these events described will happen at the SECOND Advent! Example as in 2Th 2:8 “the lawless one ..whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming” Hence we thought it best to clarify the verse as shown,

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [2Peter chapter 3 verse 10]
ORIGINAL: 2Pe 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.”
REPLACEMENT: 2Pe 3:10 “But the catching away of us to the Lord will come as a thief in the night, SEVEN Years later the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine believes the term, “thief in the night”, can only refer to the Rapture! The following event of destruction can ONLY happen at the Second Advent! Therefore we have CHANGED the verse in order to clarify the two separate events!

83 Popular Doctrine ‘Book-Mark’ [2Peter 3:4]

A mockery to change the word COMING to mean the Rapture! Coming is the word‘parousia’, which means physical presents or the Second Advent???

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [2Peter chapter 3 verse 4]
ORIGINAL: 2Pe 3:4 “and saying, Where is the promise of His coming G3952? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
REPLACEMENT: 2Pe 3:4 “and saying, Where is the promise of His catching us away? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
REASON: Popular Doctrine teaches the Rapture MUST come first! The words, His coming G3952, is: - “G3952 ‘parousia’ Thayer Definition: 1) presence; 2) the coming, arrival, advent; 2a) the future visible return from heaven of Jesus, to raise the dead, hold the last judgment, and set up formally and gloriously the kingdom of God” This is INCOMPATIBLE with Popular Doctrine! Therefore this verse has been changed to be in harmony with the Rapture.

82 Popular Doctrine ‘Book-Mark’ [2Thess 2:8]

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [2Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 8]
ORIGINAL: 2Th 2:8 “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,”
REPLACEMENT: 2Th 2:8 “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His SECOND coming,”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine is quit clear that the “coming of the Lord’ is always speaking of the Rapture; as in, 1Thess 4:13-18; 2Thess 2:1-4 and in many other scriptures. So our dedicated team have decided to clarify this verse as shown.

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [1Corinthianse chapter 15 verses 22-23]
ORIGINAL: 1Co 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruit, and afterward they who are Christ's at His coming;”
REPLACEMENT: 1Co 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. :23 But each in his own order: Christ the first-fruit, and afterward they who are Christ's when He catches us away;”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine is that the “catching away” is when we are made alive! It would make No sense for us to wait seven years to be made alive, at ‘His coming’, that is at His SECOND coming? Therefore the verse has been CORRECTED as shown.
