Mockery to remove part of verse that says Abraham shall be A Father Of NATIONS? Israel has only ever been ONE NATION and not NationS Plural?

Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [Geneses chapter 17 verse 6]
ORIGINAL:
Gen 17:6 “And I will make you exceedingly fruitful, greatly so, and I will
make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you.”
REPLACEMENT:
Gen 17:6 “And I will make you exceedingly fruitful, greatly so, and I will make nations of you,
and kings shall come out of you.”
REASON: Popular Doctrine
acknowledges that God said this to Abraham and that the royal lines of Saul
and David came through him! But their dynasties ENDED! More
importantly there was only ONE NATION that came through Abraham and
that was Israel the Jews. Therefore we have REMOVED part
of this verse as shown!
