Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [2Chronicales chapter 7 verse 18]
ORIGINAL:
2Ch 7:18 “then I will make the throne of your kingdom sure,
as I have covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not
fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.”
REPLACEMENT:
2Ch 7:18 “then I will make the throne
of your kingdom sure, as I have covenanted with David your father, saying,
There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine is that the throne of David end with Zedekiah! (Refer Jer
52:10-11). And the KINGDOM of Israel ceased to exist!
Therefore this whole verse should be removed from scripture!
