Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

ORIGINAL:
2Sa 7:16 And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure FOREVER before you. Your throne shall be established FOREVER".
REPLACEMENT:

REASON:
Popular Doctrine acknowledges this verse was
spoken to King David! BUT His descendants were defeated and ceased to exist! (Refer Jer
52:10-11). Therefore
this verse should be removed from scripture!
