Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

17:10 and since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people
Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. And I declare to you that
Jehovah will build you a house.
REPLACEMENT:
v:10 and since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people
Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. And I declare to
you that Jehovah will build you a house.
REASON:
Popular Doctrine acknowledges this verse was
spoken to King David! BUT His descendants and his kingdom, (house), were
defeated and ceased to exist! (Refer Jer 52:10-11). Therefore, this verse should be
removed from scripture!
