I am dyslexic so please bear with me. Scriptures are from Modern King James (MKJV) unless noted otherwise.

Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [2Peter chapter 3 verse 10]
ORIGINAL:
2Pe 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,
in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will
melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.”
REPLACEMENT:
2Pe 3:10 “But the catching away of us to the
Lord will come as a thief in the night, SEVEN
Years later the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and
the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it
will be burned up.”
REASON: The Popular Doctrine believes the term, “thief in the night”,
can only refer to the Rapture! The following event of destruction can ONLY
happen at the Second Advent! Therefore we have CHANGED the verse
in order to clarify the two separate events!
