Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [Isaiah chapter 54 verse 14]
ORIGINAL:
Isa 54:14 “In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far
from oppression; for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come
near you.”
REPLACEMENT: Isa 54:14 “In righteousness you should be established; you shall be far from oppression; for you
shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
REASON: In verse 5 we see God is speaking to Israel. The
word SHALL has a very strong demanding meaning, so we have changed it to should! But the Popular Doctrine
is that the Jews HAVE BEEN oppressed, in fear and terror
for well over two thousand years! Therefore, most of this verse MUST be removed
from scripture!
