A mockery to change, “the brightness of His coming” to “the brightness of His SECOND coming”? BUT there is really no need for the change????

Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [2Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 8]
ORIGINAL:
2Th 2:8 “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of
His coming,”
REPLACEMENT:
2Th 2:8 “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord shall
consume with the breath of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of
His SECOND
coming,”
REASON:
The Popular Doctrine is quit clear that the “coming of the Lord’ is
always speaking of the Rapture; as in, 1Thess 4:13-18; 2Thess 2:1-4 and in many
other scriptures. So our dedicated team have decided to clarify this verse as
shown.
