A mockery to say God DID NOT keep his promise to David SEED forever! David’s lineage ended with the death of Zedekiah! (Refer Jer 52:10-11)?

NB: Beware....Rev 22:19 “And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.”
Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC ‘Book-Mark’ [1Kings chapter 11 verse
39]
ORIGINAL: 1Ki 11:39 “And for this I will afflict
the seed of David, but not forever.
REPLACEMENT:
1Ki 11:39 And for this I will afflict the seed of David, but not forever.
REASON: The Popular Doctrine view is that David’s throne DID NOT last FOR
EVER!! It ended with Zedekiah! (Refer Jer 52:10-11).
Therefore part of this verse should be removed from scripture!
