Introduction
I'd like to show you something and you might be somewhat skeptical but please hear me out just for a little bit. If you go to the bible and in Genisis 48; Now just a bit of background, we know about Abraham Isaac and Jacob; and God renamed Jacob to Israel. Israel had twelve sons and one of them, Joseph was sold into slavery then became Pharaoh's right-hand man. This is the story where OLD Jacob/Israel met his two grandsons, Ephraim and Manasseh for the first time. He was going to bless them, and bear in mind the right-hand blessing was believed to be the greater. Let's read...
Genisis 48
Genesis 48:11 "And Israel said to Joseph, I had not thought I would see your face, and, lo, God has showed me also your seed. 12 And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed his face to the earth. 13 And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left, and Manasseh in his left toward Israel's right hand. And he brought them near to him. 14 And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it on Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left on Manasseh's head, crossing his hands. For Manasseh was the first-born. 15 And he blessed Joseph and said, May God, before whom my father's Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who fed me all my life to this day, 16 the Angel who redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads. And let my name be named on them, and the name of my father's Abraham and Isaac, and let them grow like the fishes into a multitude in the midst of the earth. 17 And Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, and it was evil in his eyes. And he held up his father's hand to remove it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head. 18 And Joseph said to his father, Not so, my father. For this is the first-born. Put your right hand on his head. 19 And his father refused and said, I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be GREAT, but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he is, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations. 20 And he blessed them that day, saying, In you shall Israel bless, saying, God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh. And he put Ephraim before Manasseh."
In short Manasseh shall become a GREAT nation and Ephraim shall become a Multitude or COMPANY of Nations. This prophesy also pops up in a couple more verses with similar meanings. Genesis 15:5 'Abram's seed would be as the stars of heaven.' Genesis 22:17 "I will multiply your seed like the
stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is upon the seashore. And your Seed
shall possess the gate of His enemies."
Then you have this glorious confirmation blessing; Genesis 35:11"And God said to him, I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations shall be from you, and kings shall come out of your loins."
Who Is This GREAT Nation?
The upshot of this is that God is saying that Ephraim and Manasseh will eventually become powerful nations in the last days. Who could they be? They can't be the Jews because the Jews came from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin! So, who could these people be that are a GREAT nation and a Commonwealth, WOOPS!; a Multitude or COMPANY of Nations. It could only be the British Commonwealth, and America is the GREAT Nation.
So, I find it very interesting that Donald Trump is putting a logo on his cap to "Make America GREAT Again"
