The Fine Print in REVELATION

Why do people NEVER READ the Fine Print in the Book of REVELATION? It is there in plain sight to read but your preachers don’t teach it WHY?

Your Life's BIG Investment
During your lifetime have you ever purchased some expensive items, say a car, boat, motorhome or a townhouse? And you know that to close the deal you have to sign a contract. How often do we really bother to read ALL the fine print, which could be at the start and or the bottom of the contract? We often don’t do we?
 
And if we don’t read the fine print, and something fowls up with you expensive ‘toy’, you are left out to dry as they say, with no course of redress! And it's YOUR OWN fault!
 
The Fine Print In Revelation!
Let's look at what I call the Fine Print in the book of Revelation! The two short bits that everyone seems to ignore.
 
Rev 1:1&3 “A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to declare to His servants things which must shortly come to pass. And He signified it by sending His angel to His servant John, … Rev 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads and hears the Words of this prophecy, and the ones keeping the things written in it, for the time is near. 
 
Rev 22:6&10 “And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must shortly be done. …Rev 22:10 And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the prophecy of this Book; for the time is at hand. 
 
Now if you were watching a news presenter on TV speaking of some coming event using that kind of wording; would you think they mean the event won't start for another 2000 years? Seriously!! Of course not!

So Jesus is telling John at the start of the Revelation, "Write this ALL in a scroll because this is ALL going to happen REAL SOON!! Then at the end of the Revelation Jesus is stressing, "Do not seal these Words!!" or DON'T file this away and forget it! BECAUSE ALL These things ARE About to Happen REAL SOON!!

So the Revelation must therefore be a "revealing" of world events that were about to start as of John's lifetime, that is starting around 96 AD. In other words, a description of our past 2000 years. Not necessarily all prophesy because the woman in chapter 12 is "revealing" an event to John, which had already taken place at the time he was writing.
 
The logical conclusion must be this, that the weird symbols of the Revelation have been unfolding over the past 2000 years. Therefore, if or when we reach some horrific time in history, the symbols used suddenly become self-explanatory, and that part of the Revelation should give us a heads up on what to expect. Such as if we were alive at, the fall of the Roman Empire, the rise of Islam, the invention of gunpowder or bombs falling from aircraft. Hence Blessed is the one who reads and hears the Words of this prophecy, so that we are not caught unawares when we see those things come into being!
 
Take note that some events described in the Revelation use only a handful of words to describe things that take place over decades or even hundreds of years.
