Popular Doctrine [1 Thess 5:23]

Published 20251029 -:- Revised 20251113--p

I am dyslexic so please bear with me. Scriptures are from Modern King James (MKJV) unless noted otherwise.

POP-DOC is a self-funded team with the aim to promote Popular Doctrine.

Popular Doctrine is the accepted majority teaching. It's because these beliefs are so Popular, that other scriptures are now redundant or incompatible with Popular Doctrine. Our team strive to produce handy ‘POP-DOC Book-Marks’ with appropriately altered scriptures, so you can then paste each ‘Book-Mark’ into your bible in order to update your bible.
If you find scriptures that need updates, please contact us in the comments below, thank you.

Each ‘Book-Mark’ provides you with: -
1 The original scripture reference.
2 The new replacement scripture, which is then compatible with Popular Doctrine.
3 Then the reason the correction is needed.

NB: Beware....Rev 22:19 “And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.”
Question: Is the Popular Doctrine correct or is the original scripture correct?

POP-DOC Book-Mark’ [1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 verse 23]
ORIGINAL:
1Th 5:23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
REPLACEMENT:
1Th 5:23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the catching away of us to our Lord Jesus Christ.
REASON:
Popular Doctrine says the Rapture, (catching away, caught up), MUST happen FIRST! The words “comingG3952”, par-oo-see'-ah, or comeG2064” both refer to the advent or physical presence of Christ. Thus most verses using these words are speaking of the SECOND ADVENT! This is INCOMPATIBLE with Popular Doctrine!! So the verse has been revised as shown to indicate the rapture and NOT the SECOND ADVENT!

All tongue in cheek of cause!
