The LIES In The Bible

NB: I am dyslexic so please bear with me. Bible references are from MKJV unless noted otherwise.

Lies in the Bible? Come now.. That statement would shock any true believer. But the Word of God is packed full of prophecies and promises from God which the church has totally ignored. I would go as far as to say that some church leaders even try to cover them up, and refuse to even discuss them? They put them in the ‘TO HARD BASKET’, and why? Maybe because their seminar teaching didn’t cover that, so why should they need to look into those passages of scripture? Or “Because it has nothing to do with the ‘Salvation’ message!” That’s another common answer. In most cases that’s quiet true, these prophecies below have nothing to do with the salvation message.

So why are they there? Because God wants us to know that HE KEEPS HIS WORD!

People have often “spiritualised” these prophecies and try to apply them to Christ. You would often get the answer, “the prophecies have been fulfilled in the heavenly realm”. Yet when you study the prophecies you will find they are clearly to be fulfilled in the natural realm.

Take for example prophecies regarding David’s throne. You may often hear the answer “but Christ is King on the throne now!” Well yes Christ sits at the right hand of the Father on God’s throne now, BUT David never sat there! So Christ is still waiting for the fulfilment of the scripture in Luke 1:32  “….And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David.”

Or some people take prophecies, which are talking about Israel in the ‘Later Days’, and try to apply them to the Jews of today, (modern day Israel). By doing that we horribly diminish the magnificent global size of what God said He would achieve with his chosen people.

Lets Begin These ‘TRUE or FALSE’ Questions

Purely on the basis of what the church generally teaches, try answering the following simple questions. In most cases I am sure you will answer ‘NO’. But bear in mind if ‘NO’ is the correct answer then the Bible has some strange anomalies, which could only be construed as what!  “LIES”? Lets try some questions and if you answered NO to the Questions below; then read the ‘LIES’ from GODS WORD!

DAVID

Question : Does David have a literal descendant still sitting on David’s literal throne today?         ……       …[ Y ] or [ N ]

LIE (1)

2Sa 7:12  And when your days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall come out of your bowels. And I will make his kingdom sure. v:13  He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. v:14  I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men. v:15  But My mercy shall not leave him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you. v:16  And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.

….. NB: Verse 14, “If he commits iniquity”, This passage CAN NOT refer to Christ!

LIE (2)

1Ch 17:10  and since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. And I declare to you that Jehovah will build you a house. v:11  And it will be, when your days have ended so that you must go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, who shall be from your sons. And I will make his kingdom sure. v:12  He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. v:13  I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. And I will not take My mercy away from him as I took it from him who was before you. v:14  And I will settle him in My house, and in My kingdom forever. And his throne shall be established forever.

Question : Does David’s throne rule over the house of Israel today?       ……       ……       ……       ……       …[ Y ] or [ N ]

LIE (3)

Jer 33:17  For so says Jehovah, David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, v:18  nor shall the priests the Levites lack a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle grain offerings, and to do sacrifice forever. v:19  And the Word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying, v:20  So says Jehovah: If you can break My covenant of the day and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season, v:21  then also may My covenant with David My servant be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and My covenant with the Levites the priests, My ministers. v:22  As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I will multiply the seed of David My servant and the Levites who minister to Me.

LIE (4)

Jer 33:25  So says Jehovah: If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not given the ordinances of the heavens and the earth, v:26  then I will cast away the seed of Jacob, and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will bring back their captivity, and have mercy on them.

ISRAEL

Question: Does the Bible say that Israel will NEVER come back to the PALESTINE area?…           …            …[ Y ] or [ N ]

Question: Has Israel lived free from major persecution since being cast out of PALESTINE?…      …[ Y ] or [ N ]

LIE (5)

2Sa 7:10  And I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them so that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more. Neither shall the sons of wickedness afflict them any more, as before.

In this passage God is saying He will appoint, or “Pick a NEW” place to put Israel, and then they will not move from there? 

LIE (6)

1Ch 17:9  And I will set a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall live in their place and shall be moved no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning, v:10  and since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. And I will subdue all your enemies. And I declare to you that Jehovah will build you a house.

These passages make you think don’t they! They CANNOT Be Lies! They must therefore be fulfilled now in the natural, (real time NOW), and would have to have been on going for centuries. If you are interested I have a lot more for you…stay tuned!
